I have been a professional truck driver and owner-operator for thirty-four years. I have never seen anything work like this. I have been in this business a long time—I have logged over seven million miles and been accident-free for seven years. I run a Mack 460 with over 2,000,000 original kms. I have tried a lot of different additives and like most of my fellow truckers, I’ve never seen enough results to be convinced that anything ever worked. To say the least, I was skeptical. This is the first product that seems to have reversed all of the negative effects of low-sulphur fuel. I’m definitely getting more power, but the thing that really convinced me was when it fixed one of my injectors. The first time we tried ULSD Booster was in our 2002 Duramax. This truck has over 800,000 kms and we were having lots of problems hard starting, running terrible. We were ready to send this truck to the graveyard. Then we decided to treat it with Diesel Booster. Well, we could not believe the results. We did this in the spring of 2009 and we now treat all of our fuel on ADI at 400 to 1. We are certain that because of this additive we are using 20% less fuel in our overall farming operation. We have always needed a fuel truck to deliver fuel to the tractors in the field because they could not run a whole day without refueling. We farm the same amount of acreage and run the same hours. For the first time ever, the tractors are now making it home at night with fuel left over. Not only are we saving fuel on every piece of equipment, we no longer have the additional expense of a dedicated fuel delivery truck to go out to the field. We are amazed at how far we can go on all of our equipment without having to refuel. And as for the Duramax, it starts and runs like a new truck. We are impressed!

I’m not one to throw good money after bad and I’ve heard enough promises and claims in my 23yrs pounding the asphalt. However, after a phone conversation with Harold I decided to give ADI a try. Here is what I have experienced so far. I began on November 14th, so my results are all in winter fuel. I changed fuel filters on my series 60 DDEC V and dropped a bottle of ADI in. I noticed within an hour of using it that the engine was sounding like it was running smoother. The biggest difference was how well it started to pull.
It held its own on the long pulls out to Vancouver and there was definite reduced shifting, which often allowed me to stay in the over-drive mode of the eighteen speed. I’m usually pulling weights in the neighbourhood of 94,000lbs. so I can say that there was a noticeable difference. The turbo boost was constantly sitting at 42psi when I needed it and after three rounders using ADI there was less oil consumption. I can’t really say I noticed any major increase in fuel economy. That is all relevant to the fact that with a GVW of 94,000lbs going over the mountains and using winter fuel, I was happy maintaining my 5.25mpg.
I was also happy with the fact that in the recent cold snap that hit the west, ADI did what it promised – it prevented fuel gelling. I was in Edmonton when it hit -46°C and Saskatoon when it was -43°C, and I didn’t have any fuel problems. On the contrary, the engine just kept performing in a nice steady consistent manner. I’ve used a variety of fuel supplements over the years and ADI is the only one I’ve found that actually does what it says it will do. As a result, I have been using it since and as long as I obtain similar results I will continue to use it.
On a final note, I stopped using ADI for one week, to see if there was any difference and the engine did not pull as well, felt sluggish, and turbo pressure was approximately 5 psi lower. After adding ADI back into my fuel, she began to dig in and work like she should. I think there’s a winner here with ADI Diesel Booster. Don’t let the price scare you. It works.

I recently bought a 2009 Ford F350 dually crew cab with 17,000 km on it. I decided to concentrate the first few treatments so I began by putting 1/2 litre of ADI ULS Diesel Booster into each tank and repeated this for three tanks of fuel. This was about double the recommended treat ratio. The first thing I noticed was the engine got quieter, which I was happy about because as any Ford diesel truck owner knows, they tend to get a little noisy. After treating the first three tanks at 200 to 1, I noticed that the DPF was regening less often.  Before I treated it with ADI the DPF would recycle every 1/2 tank for about 25 minutes. It went from every half tank to once every tank of fuel. The most significant change in the DPF was the length of the regen cycle—it dropped from 25 minutes down to 5 minutes. Now I am consistently treating at the 400 to 1 ratio and the DPF has gotten even better. It now regens every 3 tanks of fuel (1/3 as often) for 5 minutes. I also noticed that the motor runs significantly quieter at cold start—it doesn’t rattle and complain like it used to. Idling at operating temperature it is now quieter than a Duramax. I noticed this when I was parked beside a Duramax and the Duramax was louder than my F350. As for fuel economy, I have gone from 21 litres per 100 km to 16 litres per 100 km in winter conditions with 3 to 4 hours a day idle time. I ran this product in 2005 as well and have always found that ADI has done what it claimed it would do.

In November 2009 I purchased a New Peterbilt Truck with a Cummins ISX. With the stringent emission requirements and the addition of “EGR” and “DPF” (Diesel Particulate Filter) to all brands of new trucks, I was somewhat nervous about starting into winter operating conditions. There are many stories of the new emission engines from all manufacturers having difficulty operating in cold weather conditions with “failing” EGR and DPF issues. I feel that part of the reason for these failures is the Low Sulphur Diesel and winter fuel.
In November, I started adding Forté Premium ULS Diesel Booster to our fuel as a “safety” measure to help keep us running during cold temperatures. Here are my results.
  • From November 2009 to January 2010, I averaged 6.8 MPG. Imperial, pulling a Tri Axle Reefer in Canada.

We started using ADI Diesel Booster at the beginning of our 2009 farming season. We experienced better overall performance on all of our equipment, and in excess of 15% better fuel economy overall. Then we decided that since the ADI anti-gel is rated to -55°, we would fill all of our fuel storage with summer fuel, to store over the winter. We have already hit temperatures in excess of -35°, and even though we have no winter fuel on our Colony, all of our diesel fuel is flowing. We know that winter fuel has a negative impact on fuel economy and power. If we can avoid winter fuel by using summer fuel with ADI Diesel Booster, then the benefits will more than justify the cost of the additive.

I started using Diesel Booster on November 27, 2009. I own a 2007 Kenworth W900L. It has a 475 Cummins ISX, 1850ft lbs torque engine. I run in the mountains between B.C. & Alberta pulling tandem and tri-dem reefers, average weight is between 40,000 – 48,000 lbs. My reasons for using the product were due to high oil consumption and poor fuel mileage since an in-frame was done back in August 2009. At this time, I also changed my oil brand for the same reasons. I have used 4.2 cases of Diesel Booster with the following results…
Within a couple of days, I noticed my truck was running smoother, performing better, the quality of my boost improved by 6lbs on my gauge and my pyrometer temperature dropped by 150 – 200 degrees on level pulls. The truck pulls through the mountains a half gear higher with heavy loads and a full gear higher on loads under 32,000 lbs. As of February 1, 2010, my fuel economy has improved by .63 miles per gallon consistently with winter fuel ratings from -11° to -26°. My oil stays cleaner longer and I am no longer consuming oil.

I run two trucks, both are ‘99’s. One Volvo, with a Volvo 425 hp engine, one Freightliner with a Cummins 400 hp engine. I’ve always maintained my trucks well and both got really good mileage. 7 – 8 mpg. for the Volvo and 8 – 9 mpg. for the Freightliner in the spring, summer and fall. As the winter hit this year both trucks took a major turn for the worse in fuel consumption. Way more than I was expecting for the cold weather and winter fuel. Usually, they drop about 1 – 1.5 mpg. This year they both dropped down to 5.5 – 5.7 mpg. I was trying everything I could think of to figure out what may be the problem, from doing topsets, changing filters, testing the CAC, belly tarps to deflect the wind, intake and exhaust gaskets, new turbo on the Cummins (it was needed anyway). Nothing seemed to make a difference and all the tests showed no mechanical problems. With the increase in fuel prices, it was getting to be too much to run both tracks. I had to park one of them as the profit was becoming non-existent.
Diesel Booster was recommended to me by an owner-operator. I had tried other fuel conditioners with not much change in consumption. He explained how well it had worked for him so I thought I would give it a try. At this point, what could it hurt? I treated my fuel with ADI and within about a half-hour of driving, I had noticed the engine was running smoother and pulling better. My mileage had jumped from 5.7 mpg. to 7.5 mpg. and maintained it over the next 8,000 miles. I figured I should be getting around 7.5 mpg. in the winter. Needless to say, I was pleased. I then jumped in my Volvo, which I had parked, and took it for a run. I treated it with ADI and ran from Toronto to Vancouver and back. I burned about $900 less than the last run and averaged just under 8 mpg. The weather and road conditions were very similar as was the load I was carrying, so I felt it was a fair comparison. It to, has maintained good mileage since I’ve been treating it with ADI. Both tracks are back to doing 12,000 – 14,000 miles per month and running well. I feel I can honestly say that ADI Diesel Booster has saved my career in trucking.
